Trivia
- They are a system of five members, only one of which typically fronts. Each has their own name, but these are considered irrelevant for most people to know. K'tho is their collective name.
- They have been alive longer than the Nil'n advents of gunpowder and spaceflight.
- Their abilities and knowledge are largely determined by whoever is fronting; most of the time, there is significant disassociative amnesia separating them.
- The length of K'tho's hair is of spiritual significance, similar in vein to that of which is taught to blazers. But rather than shaving representing the cleansing of hatred and sin, the growing of their hair represents the burden of the lives they have taken.
- They crop their ears and limit their public drug consumption to disguise their age; more often they will come across as a midear than the tallear that they truly are.
Story
System information
K'tho is an intentionally created system, consisting of five headmates as of present. While they do experience severe disassociative amnesia, they also experience some emotional and memory bleedthrough after the fact. They are wholly unable to co-front, but are able to feel the transition from one alter to the next. In the words of Junme: "It feels like losing consciousness."
If not for the interventions that had initially created Zanzan and Junme, K'tho would likely still be Ky'rin. A singlet.
Ky'rin
she/they | girl | asexualKy'rin is the original, or former core of K'tho. She is the eldest, the knight. The girl who never grew into a woman; not because of her body's sex, but because it simply wasn't important enough to develop further as she grew. She was always stern, studious. Emotionally repressed and stone-faced, even in an age where emotional openness was expected.
Their psionics are far more focused on detecting movement than thought. They are well-trained in the use of various blades, gauntlets, and their own claws.
As of present day, Ky'rin rarely fronts. When she does, it is often to observe religious rituals as she did in centuries long past.
Zanzan
they/them | of mind and matter | pansexualZanzan is, at least partially, what was intended to be created. They are eternally joyous, reckless. When they front, their lips are nigh constantly spread in a wide grin. Their concept of gender is not at all related to sex, instead having been built in their time cohabitating with Tena; it relates greatly to their psionics, as well as the sheer experience of existing.
But what was not intended was their happiness; what was intended was their propensity for telekinesis. They blow the armor from their foes far better than any storm winds, then immediately strike.
Zanzan semi-frequently fronts; or at least often enough to attend great parties.
